When I was reading the new .Hack//GU manga, this page was included in chapter 2, and it demanded that I color it, so... I did!

Since it's a manga page, I decided to use the colors from the manga/game, and not the anime.
The BG however...is an anime screenshot ^^; The mere thought of all those circles scared me.

Tools: Photoshop CS2, Wacom 4x5 Tablet
Time spent: 12 hours over the course of 1 week

Edit: Appantely the Line Art was the sketch for the game cover ^^ I didn't find out until just today. And...it's appantely Atoli in the image, not Shino. (Makes more sense for the cover I suppose, though Shino just seemed to fit better)

Nice coloring job. Those are quite dark colors, hahah, but it sure does match the mood. I think more highlights would have been interesting, but it's really cool. It's like.. coloring book, yaay! With modern technology, hahah.

Coloring in photoshop DOES randomly make me want to whip out a coloring book and color with crayons. In fact, one day I tried to find some old coloring books....and failed.

YM saves me from going insane sitting in photoshop 6 hour straight (cause...I just realised... half of those 12 hours was tonight.... it really didn't feel that long)
